but then how do you distinguish from the other type of chips? Is there another slang word for potato chips or are they also called chips
Eating in "This here restaurant"
Ming Mang Posted Aug 24, 2001
Yes, can someone explain to me exactly what potato chips are?

Hey, Ming...
You wanna know what potato chips are?
weeeeell, that's kinda hard.... but not really. Their thinly sliced, deep fried, chunks of potato.
The only difference is that their cooked through, so their ALL crunchy, not just the outside.
(Pulls basket out of frier. piles onto plate, and slides to Ming.)
Here ya go.
