first.... the date is decided on if no one has noticed yet 14th Jan second.... has someone (RF?) booked the pub yet? third, are we having a quizz or no quizz or badge (badger) competition or no? forth, or third does anyone want to help maintain the atendee list during the Christmas period as I'll be in non internet land for something like the 20ish dec till the beginning of jan

Also, is there any information on the non drinking ourselves to death afternoon activities that anyone wants put on th meet page? oh, and feel free to muster up peoples attention about the meet to get as many as we can along

I'm not signed up for the meet; but I have an urgent request for anyone who can help!!!

B'Elana (Minister of Abbreviations) has recently posted a 'death of a notebook' thread. You may have seen it - if not, look it up, its important!!!

Bel's notebook has gone to the great blue yonder; and she is now dependent upon the good will of her sons letting her use their computers. Therefore she cannot spend time on hootoo.

As many of us believe Bel to be an important contributor to many areas of h2g2, I took it upon myself to ask the community if anyone had a laptop/pc etc, that they no longer wanted. There has been some response. However, my main problem now is contacting Bel.

I know that she intends to make the London meet; and wondered if anyone on this thread has a more RL contact with her than I have.

If we as a community can help provide Bel with some equipment to allow her to return it would be wonderful; but I don't know how to progress further from here.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm sure that most of you on this thread know her better than I do.

Don't want to lose her though. Please help if you can.

naa thats the next one I was after, but was putting the question of if someone wants to take over updating the atendee list to more of a audience if you see what I mean... I'll go give RF a text mesage I think then I'll know he's got the thing

And I'm meeting a few people at the Tate Modern to see those infamous white boxes. (I'll not be at the evening do, though)

Hey! if I came to the Tate modern again (had a great time there wlast time when the audio exhibition thinggy was on ) do you think they'l let me climb in one of the boxs?

Naaa think I'll be meeting up with people and going straight to the////a pub at some point ,yawn> I'm so so so so so so so bored tonight even if I could think of a pub I might want to go to near here, its probably too late now to be worth bothing
