I would much prefer the 14th, as it is more convenient (I'm on holiday that week). So 28th is possible not definite...

I vote for the 28th otherwise I don't think I can go! I only arrive in England on the 10th!

It doesn't look good for the 28th, though, so maybe you'd better get prepared to meet us all on 14th 
Can't you plan it from America ? Would save you the hassle once you're there.

Well sure I can, but I worry about getting there on the 10th, then I have orientation for my semester at Lancaster U. that lasts until the 13th, then, just when I'm getting adjusted to my new surroundings, I leave for the weekend. But honestly, if it's the 14th I'll make attempts to go--an h2g2 meet-up has been my dream for a long time! Mostly, I want a t-shirt...

I am gonna vote after all - I want this date.
Sorry to those who I said I'd vote for the one they wanted, but I think I've got more chance of getting my ex to swap if we go for this one. And January is such a long month that a lot of people have spent their money over christmas!
I vote that next year we go back to having it *before* xmas, or move it to February.

The last pre Christmas meet was November 2000. The official meet that came 14 months after that was January 2002, so it's been in January since then. I'm sure we used to try and have a site birthday party around April time in those days too.
