yes. "pan-ne-ka'er" i think describes the pronunciation best
modern danish is not the easiest language to lean, i'm afraid
- just like 'gammel dansk' is a required taste

Sounds like you had a lot of fun
But reading it, I'm actually glad I didn't make it. Sadly I have developed some sort of allergi for ciggarette smoke in the last year, so I would probably not have been very comfortable. Whenever someone smokes near me I have a hard time breathing and I feel sick to my stomach
Not a very sociable thing in this day of age unfortunatly - especially not nice since my mom is a heavy smoker and sees no reason to quit just because I'm uncomfortable - go figure!
