No, it's not that.. I suppose you can watch it if you *really* must
It's just that I take after my mom on interest in sports - which is none whatsoever. I just can't see what the Big Deal is about.

Here you are, terryterry!
I don't think they'll unstick you but they will definately make you feel better.

Rupert-
strangely I'm exactly the same when it comes to most sport, but for me international ice hockey is somehow a different ball game altogether...
so to speak...
The Danes were lucky to be in the same division as Japan, and lucky that they're facing Russia now.
I predict a hammering.
Sorry, this doesn't have to dominate the thread, I just figured there might be some views on it.
And personally, I'm HYPED

Is anyone still interested in a meet-up in Lund? No one has posted anything in Milla's latest suggestion for a date (5-6 June):

5th of june is father's day here in denmark - and some of us take that *very* seriously!
it will be the first father's day without the oldest of the fathers who passed away suddenly between xmas and new years so it is impossible for me to go to lund

I can see that, ...
We do not in any way uphold Father's (or for that matter, Mother's) Day - but the June 5 is also constitutional day.
Which we actually do not celebrate either -.
But June 5 also happens to be chosen as this year's day for our annual, very traditional, croquet tournament.
The Rabbitforest Open Croquet Tournament (which actually is not open but for invited players...) will be in it's 13th or 14th consecutive year - and THAT effectively prevents me from going to Lund that day...
*sighs*

I guess I'll take a hint (or five) about the hockey!
Fathers' day is an annoying time for me because my own dad is in the UK and I can never keep track of when the UK fathers' day is.

We usually don't celebrate father's day, at least not in my family.
Since someone did mention soccer... Norway beat Russia 3-2 yesterday! Changing coaches really did the trick.
