Oh year, I've got plenty of time for reading... the problem is that I'm not reading anything right now... but maybe I should have a look in my father's bookcase... There might be something worth reading. Or I could persuade someone to go to the library... oh no... sunday, closed! Then it will be the very old and dusty bookcase!

Well, I'm only 3/4 danish... and then 1/4 polish!
And now I'm on the list! Great! I'm in the Nordic Researchers Club...

cheers
(I'll take tea... there is nothing like a cup of tea, in front of the computer when it's dark outside, and the only light in the house is the light from the computer-screen)

Yeah, I'm quite sleepy too... but I won't go to bed now that I finally got the computer alone... My brothers have been playing war-games on it the whole day... but know they are sleeping!

Hi Elenwe!
Velkommen.
Had to at the translation of "efterskole"! Isn't it just typical of trying to explain very culture-specific things in other languages!
I had a similar problem trying to describe "Jansson's frestelse" to someone at home.
(BTW: Could someone svenska tell me if there's supposed to be an ä in that somewhere?)

Titania (gone for lunch) Posted May 10, 2004
No 'ä' in 'Janssons frestelse' (and no apostrophe either)
What did you call it in English when describing it - Jansson's temptation?
