If *I* have a plan then everybody else surely have some as well. Not making plans isn't contagious, quite the opposite.

ah, so basically what you are saying is:
not making plans is not contagious
making plans is contagious
guess i'll stop making plans then - and hope it catches on

Have I ever said I never plan anything? I don't like planning but I accept the fact that there are moments when planning is unavoidable.

I think I can do more if I do it slower and without planning much. However, that also means that sometimes I get too slow and fall asleep.

Well, I am in a busy planning and panicing phase atm. So falling asleep isn't really a problem. I don't.

.. sleep helps against attacks of planning .. I always stop planning some minutes after I fall asleep

if you really feel the urge to plan why not start with planning the past? so much easier than planning ahead

yes, but I already did that .. and this is one of the activities that doesn't give pleasure doing it again and again and again ...
