You may have known it was the carers' virtual strike on Saturday last. Did anyone get involved? How did it go for you if you did?

I hadn't heard of it. Teenacher is at a stage he doesn't need much in the way of caring nowadays, just reminders to shower!

Replying late (as per usual) to this:
It was just another day. Like every other day, in the previous rather-not-count-them years of being a carer.
I'm not sure what anyone else expected of it, but after (now) two decades of this, I'm used to hearing praise and promises from polititicians etc followed by nothing much which is tangible or useful.

That's very true in my experience. In the end individuals and local charities are usually, I find, the best source of support.
