h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Nobody cares about AS-levels. All the unis I applied asked for 3 a-levels, unless you want to do Oxbridge or something sill like that.

Turns out I'll probably be doing (equivalent) A level Stats as well as maths....and comp sci, whilst also doing AS level (equiv.) latin, physics and English (thinking about dropping the latter)

Yeah, if i had my way i would have done Highers (scottish system) and the don't have to do stats (unless u'r crazy and do advanced Higher stats)

I should have insisted on doing decision instead of Stats.

[shudders] not maths, anything but maths!!

*wonders if there's a way to save the request for godhood thread from school type things... lets a couple of white mice wander into the crowd to see what happens*

Things are certainly moving up a level, but i think the mice have still got one over us, their palm top computers are way smaller than ours (given they have much smaller palms), i might borrow one and have a quick game of solitare *settles down to happily play cards*

Just make sure you give it back.. You know how those mice and their methods of enforcement (by removal of brain) can be..

hehe, the mice r definatly much better, they have minesweeper as well! and whats really fantastic is that is actually possible! (a novel idea that microsoft might like to pick up on, hint hint)
