Furball were a small band who had a lifespan of a mere 15 months, however their experiences typify those of countless bands who try (and fail) to make it in the music business. Hopefully this entry demonstrates the ups and downs of life as an unsigned band, while providing factual information for those interested in the music side of things.

Any comments gratefully received.

hello! well, let's see. your entry now has the coveted status of Reccommended, and will eventually become Edited. When this happens(but please be patient as it can take awhile), you will be emailed. thanks for writing for the Guide(and for putting your entry in PR, you know w/o doing that, it can never become Edited, and will always be a regular guide entry)! though i don't usually read band entries, this one caught my eye because of the odd name.(now perhaps i should read them more, even tho i'm not terribly knowlegable/interested in music? hmmm...) really quite an interesting entry; can't see why no one commented.smiley - erm

Why, thank you for your kind comments. Could it be that you chose the entry to read because it had something to do with cats? (I've peeked at your personal space). Not that it does, actually, but the name might suggest a feline connection.

What machine are you playing Chips Challenge on? I had it years ago on the Atari Lynx (one of the first hand-held consoles, in case you don't remember) and I think managed to complete it. Took ages, though, so good luck.

And sci-fi. Go on - name some names. Personally I'd go for Asimov as all time great, followed (in no particular order) by Arthur C. Clarke, Robert Heinlein, Iain M. Banks and maybe Frank Herbert.

Anyhow, sorry for rambling, but yours was the first contact on h2g2 I've had for a couple of days. For some reason it suddenly all went quiet last week. Do I smell? Ah, well...
