Definitely one of the more uncomfortable entries in the intelligence project.
anything you can say that will help improve this would be helpfull.

I think it needs something more, although I don't know what. I don't think your conclusion is very satisfactory - you don't really come to one really!

I don't think the conclusion about the Russian definition being the most satisfying can be used. "intelligence is when intelligent answers are given to intelligent questions". Surely it's a circular reference ... if you haven't defined intelligence then you don't know whether the questions/answers are intellgient, stupid or sensible.
As far as improving it ...
- I've not really helped have I?
Is the intelligence project going to be finished?

I have to agree that this is not ready for the edited guide, it is too short, and amounts to little more then interesting coffeeshop conversation. I suggest taking it to writer's workshop, or see if you can get some people to help you answer the question as a collaberative entry.

I saw a programme on animal intelligence a few years ago and remember that Panbanisha could do rather more than you suggest here, xyroth. I seem to remember her reporting a disturbance nearby and all sorts of other things. She was also able to see a model of her environment and apply it to the real world, enabling her to find hidden things.

yes, I recorded the same program (all three episodes).
however while the capabilities of panbanisha and the other animals were impressive, the linguistic capacity was considerably lower than had been thought.
These limits were mentioned explicitly, so I have tried to include them here.
