Cabin 830: Bosun's Cabin
Cookie Monster, Keeper of Flying Dancing Hippos in Pink Tutus Started conversation Aug 15, 2001
(Looks around. Finds chair. Removes dead rat, then sits down.)
Hmmm. Decor's not too attractive, but what can you expect?
(Tacks Weezer poster over bed.)
Home sweet home!
(Pulls bottle of grog out of bag and takes a swig)

Welcome aboard, not sure what a Bosun does, but hi anyway!
If you need to make your quarters more comfortable or require clothing, etc, call by the Sewing Room.

Erm well, I didn't think a Bosun was a cook, more like an assistant to captain of some sort.
The galley is what passes for a kitchen on board ship, but Floh has taken it over to provide meals for the Chai shop.
But I am sure these little misunderstandings can be sorted out by some body!

Listen, I really don't know what is going on here, and I'm very sorry too, but until we can get the cap'n's confirmation, No one is the cook, or the bosun(Which is like co-captain and we already have one of those).

The Captain has said we can beam guests on board for the occasion so please feel free to bring guests (although we will not be able to guarantee their safety )
Hope you can join me, no need to RSVP just turn up and join the celebrations

So there really *are* two Cabin 830? Phew! What a relief. I was afraid I was beginning to
Ah, well, I'll just unsubscribe to the other #830 then!
And now I see it really *was* BART who came up with the idea of putting washingpowder in those sandwiches. Well-well. I believe he won't do that again - at least not for some time... (may come in handy if we have unwanted guests someday, though )
BTW: As I stated somewhere else earlier: There is plenty of room for plenty of cooks in the galley - as I believe none of you would cook the same meal at the same time - and I love a variety of food.
If you are afraid of simuplosting feel free to open another galley, though. How's about opening a "Cajun Galley" for instance?
And if cookie monster was the first to claim the title as bosun I think he should have it - provided we can agree that a bosun is a kind of chief cook or steward. A co-captain (as in second in command) we already have: Meet Mr. Plato!

Sorry cookie! Typo-alert! Should have been "she" instead of "he" there, of course! Will you ever forgive me?
(Thanks for pointing that out, first mate!)
