It is lovely to see you both!
Life is good, thanks, Alec. It's been a bit hot, more like your neck of the woods than dear old Blighty.
'Course now they are saying we are going to have severe winter!
What about you?
It's nice to see you've escaped from the old 9-5+ for a bit, Ugi.

Bit of a Tropical Rainstorm going on at the moment Caer...
Thunder and lightning and raining in buckets...the big bambu is loving it, but the cats are not impressed.
i have to go to w*rk as soon as it stops. I've had a bout of pneumonia recently, and this is only my second day back.
Went down to Margaritaville with the Trician clan and some friends last weekend for some rest and relaxation which was nice. Spent the weekend by the pooooool...

I'm glad to hear you are on the mend, Alec
Are you still w*rking in the city, Ugi?
I have been avoiding most of the sun, the electric fans have almost spun themselves into a frenzy and we are even considering getting aircon installed in the bedrooms!
But I have got a new car, a convertible, so I'm not wishing the sun away just yet!

Well, "w**king in the city" makes it all sound rather more grand than it really is! I am still w**king and that w**k does take place in the City of London, so I guess I do w**k in the city - I just don't do fancy investment banking or anything.
The best bit of where I w**k is that I can catch the boat to the office so I don't have to take the tube during summer rush-hours. As you might imagine, the tube tends to be rather
Sorry to hear you've been unwell Alec - good that you are recovering thou' - have a to help kill off the bugs! Trust me - I'm a !

So not only do you w*rk in the city, you also go by boat which sounds even grander !
H has had to use the tube a few times in the heat too, not a pleasant experience. At least it isn't every day though.
