Once it results in an absolutle dead heat between all the remaining candidates and they have an opportunity to check dental records of all the dead bodies after the resultent brawl.
(that's a constitutional conundurum - can a corpse become president?)

I'll be opening the polls around 9am on 30th September (Thursday/Thing/Whatnot) at A5889261. The page should be complete by the time the new issue of goes live
The poll will remain open until 5pm on Friday 7th October, at which time I will start collating the votes. The count will take place over the weekend and beyond in the function room of The Flat Cap & Muffler Sports & Social Club, which is at A3148544. It's currently closed for refurbishment and holding the count there will be used as publicity for a relaunch. Also since a good half dozen of the candidates are Flat Cap members, it serves as a nice neutral location

Yes as it's only fair to leave the polls open as long as possible to give everyone who wants to use their vote the opportunity to do so.
