Write about Wimbledon!
Created | Updated Sep 10, 2002
Today sees the start of the Lawn Tennis Championships, more popularly known as Wimbledon. Wimbledon is as much a part of an English summer as strawberries, Pimms and rain; a whole fortnight of men and women in virginal white, grunting excessively and whacking balls about the place. If you are really lucky it will rain torrentially and Cliff Richard will sing!
The Edited Guide is sadly lacking on entries about Wimbledon, so over the next fortnight we are looking for Researchers who would like to write articles about any Wimbledon or tennis-related topic. You might know the best way to get tickets or how to amuse yourself while queueing up to get in. If so, we would love to hear from you. Here are some more ideas to get you started:
- Great Wimbledon moments
- A history of lawn tennis
- The All England Lawn Tennis Club
- How to get tickets for Wimbledon
- How to serve an ace
- Controversial tennis outfits
- Profiles of past Wimbledon winners
Completed Articles
