Abi, thanks. Just a thought... from this Tennis Home Page would it make more sense to link to the actual Tennis - Grass v Clay article instead of linking to my Home Space?

A tournament American tennis players have to win before they are taken seriously by the rest of the global sporting world.

But the incentive to win is pretty great. You could even have a stadium named after you. smiley - smiley

On the other hand, you might have to defeat your sister/brother in the finals. smiley - sadface

...and if you are a tennis player who can also sing, you may get an airport named after you.

Liverpool John Lennon International Airport is due to open next month. It's just down the road from a tennis centre he used to play at smiley - bigeyes

LOOnytunes, that's excellent!

The only other possible tennis player who had
an airport named after him was Harry Truman
(assuming that he played with his wife Bess,
who was an avid tennis player. I'm not sure I can
make that assumption, but tennis was in character
for Harry, given his fondness for exercise and
the availability of a partner). Of course, you
would have to go to St. Thomas (in the U.S. Virgin
Islands) to see the Harry S. Truman Airport.
It's a sacrifice some would gladly make, I bet! smiley - smiley

Considering that there are virtual bars, virtual
forests, and even a virtual Heaven at this site,
I suppose it's only a matter of time before there's
a virtual tennis game as well.
