Sad in this context being someone who's kind of got nothing better to do. Doesn't have much of a life, kind of thing.

Hi,
Thanks for the welcome. Prefer coffee to tea if you have it. Black, no sugar. Otherwise, a nice Earl Grey would be fine.
Just started here yesterday and I love it, even though it's taking some time to find my way around (does this site load slowly for everyone?)
I have a feeling I'll be spending way too much time here, but the concept is wonderful -- I've already submitted my first guide entry: Normal, Illinois, USA -- http://www.h2g2.com/A327999
One question... As a researcher for the guide, is there a way to get a h2g2 researcher identification card? Not that I would ever use such a card improperly, like trying to get my bar bill covered by promising a good review (unless it was absolutely necessary, of course).

*pours fresh cup of ground kenyan coffee... (my mother says its the best, who am I to argue??)... *
The site can be quite slow at times. I believe that it'll get faster, though...
& I don't know about cards....
