Irving Washington - Gone Writing Posted Feb 23, 2000
Hello, hello! To answer your question of my true identity, you must understand that who I REALLY am is of no consequence (until I'm a famous Rock Star). However, my ONLINE persona, as you can see, is Irving Washington, not Washington Irving.

Sorry, obscure literary reference. Catch-22 by Joseph Heller.
Cheers

Not TOO obscure! I read it last summer, just before signing onto H2G2 for the first time. My original reply was a summary of the whole letter censoring bit, but I shortened it because I didn't want to bore people

I'm new too and I can see that this is going to be seriously detrimental to my job. It's much more fun to see what everyone is saying/doing than to dictate legal documents all day. Hi everyone.

Hi everybody,
So this is h2g2 - I think I could enjoy this.
The only thing is, I'm not very good with computers, and my typing's clap!
What's the easiest way to get to my homepage, do I have to go through the link in the email every time - I seem to be having a terrible problem (with my lifestyle-hmmm, that sounds familiar)getting in - any help would be appreciated, Ta.
(This has just taken me 15 minutes to write!)
See ya,
Tim

Welcome to all the new researchers! Glad you found your entrance there, Tim. The trick to this site is to explore. It's very difficult to actually break anything, so just press buttons until you find the right one. Careful when editing articles or your homepage in GuideML or HTML, as you actually CAN break those while doing the wrong thing, but other than that...
Fishes for everyone!
