Is that the official line of The Post Team or your personal opinion?

It would certainly a shame if snubbing the Second Virtual Prez election was the official line. It's the support of The Post that led to the success of the h2g2 Bikini Competitions, Virtual Lord Mayor Of London and the First Virtual Prez election, all major community online events of the past. Maybe it's just a sign of the times, or another nail in the coffin for what was once a bastion of the community.

In my article the "Front Page" link links to the actual front page of the website, not The Post. Also I've lost my funky font that you found for me Reefgirl. Not having a go just stating so you can fix it when you have the time - mainly the link more than the font.

I'm not sure Reefgirl is online today - after all, it's her birthday! I've taken the liberty to add the 'A' that was missing from the front page link in your article, Tony2Times.

As for the font, I checked and it says 'Tempus sans ITC' - if that's the font, and if your computer doesn't display it, it may be because said font isn't installed on the computer you're using.

Ah that would be it yes, forgotten I had moved onto PC to laptop 'cos of move to university. Cheers for the link sorting, happy birthday to Reefgirl if she sees this.

I'm already essentially election reporter, returning officer and referee of the whole shabang. Post reporter would be too much and I never expect anyone from the post to fill that position as I know you're all very stretched. I just thought it was surprising that nothing at all was mentioned in the first instance, since Shazz popped up and showed an interest in what was going on earlier in the week. See F2520084?thread=982904 Maybe it's my fault for assuming that post staff appearances were a done deal for at least a passing reference.

Thanks for putting something in eventually though, that's more than enough.

Oh and I wouldn't call it a cheap shot, more like positive critique and rose tinted nostalgia of the old days of the post.

To be perfectly honest I don't have the time to deal with the election and I don't think the rest of us do either, personally I think people are taking this FAR too seriously, that's just my own personal opinion and remember the Post is 2weekly now. But if each party can supply a piece about why we should vote for them we'll put it in the next issue, if it will stop the nagging TiT, I get enough of it from my daughter I don't really want it on h2g2.

So one piece from each party by 25th September to go in the following thursday's post
