Hi, Smudger,
Thanks for telling us what has been happening. I hadn't realised how serious your problems had been. It brings it home to me how lucky we are, so far. My husband has the same condition to a lesser degree and we also take each day as it comes and make the best of it. That is all you can do, except not give in to the s' prognoses. All they can do most of the time is give an educated guess, and they have been amazed at how my other half has survived, as wheelchairs were mentioned when he was first diagnosed some sixteen years ago. That hasn't happened, and as we live at at the bottom of a steep hill that is probably just as well
I hope things continue satisfactorily for Mark ll. Take care,
Websailor

Aye! SS but thankfully the worst is over now, Mk2 has got to ge back for another scan in the next few weeks, but she is coming along great now! Walking and talking and so on, still has memory problems though, but we were told to expect that?
Come to think about it, we have gone through some right hard times since we got together, but it was worth it in my opinion
Thanks for you post, in fact, thanks to everyone for your posts, they have cheered me up

Smudger, have you told your lady that it was all worth it If you haven't perhaps you should
Hope the tests come satisfactorily. I am sure the memory thing will improve again with time.

Aye! she knows WS, communication has always been good between us, I think its because we are both second time rounders

Like us then but much of ours is unspoken sadly
My other half is a quiet Yorkshireman, but hasn't the communication skills of our dear Prof

Aye! well, its too late to say it after the person has gone
A fact brought home by recent events, we all thought we were going to lose Mk2?
I remember how quiet and closed up that I used to be when we first met, but being with Mk2 and her family, all of whom are not so inhabited about such matters, made me change my mind
Smudger.

Lucky you. My other half is a tight lipped I have to be good at guessing. It would be nice to be told, at least once in forty years
