Oh yes, there are sites you can go to that redirect you to whichever other sites you choose. Very handy.

It's much easier than that at my school... you just have to know which computers don't actually have filters... I know exactly which ones...

basically, all you have to do at our school is add [URL removed by moderator] and then the address of where you want to go. that'll probly get moderated. but yeh. that.

Yeah, must be in their contract somewhere. Tsk, tsk.
The problem with my old school's computers was that the filters were on the proxy server, so every computer went through them.

Sorry to hear that, Clelba.
Sounds a bit like our science workshop area, where the really terrible computers are (and a lethal doorhandle that scratches your finger quite badly when you pull on it too hard ).
