I think we need a "D'oh!" smiley.
Why?
Well... you can use it if or when you make continuity mistakes, typos, forget to write something, post twice, fail to realise something incredibly obvious, anything else, or just when you want to.
Please, everyone who would also like a D'oh! smiley could you do something like say hi in this forum.
Cheers.
¦M¦ - really not expecting anything to come of this...

Did I hear somewhere it was Homer's birthday this week?

Yay!! Thanks for showing your support g780!!
It is?? I don't know... I haven't heard anything about it, but I haven't got Sky anyway, so I have no idea of recent happenings with the Simpsons...

And I'll tell you another thing: we need a salad cream smiley!
Why? What do you mean, why?! It could come in handy all the time! We could use it to squirt people in the face, start and take part in food fights, empty the bottle and put water in it for an improvised water gun, and maybe even use it to brighten up that salad or two.
Plus, it'd be a great tasty addition to h2g2's Food Smiley supply!

*Here, the Professor would look sad, but again, he's not that kind of chap. *
*That was a holographic image he just conjured (sp?) up. *

Hey, you know d'oh has become an oficial word of the English language?
Only happened recently.
I agree to having a d'oh smiley.
-except it would probably have to look like Homer and there's probably some legal issue about it.

It's an official word now? Neat.
Using Homer's face might present some copyright-related difficulties, but some other way of portraying d'oh! would be fine.
*Thinks of other ways d'oh! could be represented in drawing.*
Alright Ming, I'll step down my little campaign.

Yeah, I heard about d'oh the other day. I also read something about the debate of where it originated...
but there you go.
But surely so long as the face doesn't look like Homer (apart from being yellow) then it should be OK?
Anyway... thanks for supporting this, Ed!! I'm most grateful to you.
Thanks, Prof.
