In case anyone is subscribed to this page (and if you're not, you ought to try it)... There are a few items for your perusal tonight.
smiley - cider - Firstly, we have to come up with a Party Broadcast for The Post - see A5768030. Any suggestions?
smiley - cider - Campaign song? I like 'A Little Less Conversation', by Elvis. There are some of the obvious protest songs from long ago (er... not that long ago, sorry Hyp)
smiley - cider - I'm thinking of creating a sort of gallery (though it'd have to be called a library) of creative works about the Ozark ticket and Hyp. Anyone wish to write up something, no matter how awful?
smiley - cider - Tell your friends. And have them tell their friends. And have them tell their friends. But don't have them tell their friends, because that's just ridiculous smiley - erm
smiley - cider - As I post this, there are 50 supporters of the Ozark Ticket! smiley - bubbly That's more researchers than are online right now!

Great work my friends. smiley - hug Hyp and myself thank you all.

With great sincerity,
Running Mate smiley - blacksheep

You probably won't believe this, but I have never heard that song. Or if I have, I didn't know the title. smiley - erm Sorry.

Really? smiley - smiley Well, it starts out
smiley - musicalnote 'A little less conversation, a little more action please
All this aggravation ain't satisfactioning me
A little more bite and a little less bark
A little less fight and a little more spark' smiley - musicalnote

Great theme for a campaign, I should think.

Any pieces of music you prefer?

Nope. Never heard of it. Can you whistle it for me?

I'm not sure how effective that would be...

Probably not the best idea to make our campaign song something you've never heard of though, don't you think? smiley - smiley

How about a slogan? I saw something in one of the Deputy Campaign Director's posts that struck me. 'Everyone has a voice'. smiley - zen

Hypatia

Right a slogan - as opposed to a jingle.

Surely it's Hyp, Hyp Hurray?

See my journal for a library version of 'A Little Less Conversation', though you have to wade through library versions of much worse songs to get there... It's in the entry titled 'S Club Library - Musical Hell?'

How could I not support the Ozark party! Let's just hope it doesn't follow in the footsteps of Ozark Airlines.

The Elvis song was featured prominently in the movie Ocean's Eleven (the Clooney one). However, I'll suggest as an alternative If You Want to Get to Heaven (You've Got to Raise a Little Hell). Could be seen to promote the same message - if you squint.

And I'll be sure to cast my absentee ballot, if someone will be kind enough to let me know when elections are.

smiley - ok
