I suspect it well never make it past the keepers of the rules into the guide but maybe it will slide seamlessly into the underguide!

I believe that there are a lot of little napoleans that are taking their job way to seriously at the guide. They are missing the core of what DNA wanted the guide to do and that is to make people laugh. It is wonderful that volunteers take the time to "critique" entries but the fact is that DNA never took himself to seriously and it seems these sycophants take themselves too seriously lighten up.

I don't recall DNA wanting the guide to be a place to make people laugh, but a place to share knowledge, see: A157349 .

Your understanding is that it's a place to make people laugh - which is fine. I love to laugh. So when will you start making us laugh?

I'd love to read about Grateful Dead gigs, and it's the sort of thing that should be in the Edited Guide.

The problem I have with this is that your humour is just too bizarre, and I don't get it at all. Can you describe it a little more conventionally - by all means illustrate it with humour which we can all share?

Hmmm - the author seems to have left, and the other entry in this vein (Aliens in the Carolinas) has gone back to entry. Shall I put this one on the list as well?

Is it a little early to weed this one out? How long do we normally wait?

Usually two months before we assume an - but I'm not sure this entry is suitable anyway!

(And I'm not sending the list yet, just collecting entries to keep an eye on.)

after he posted this remark I'm not sure he will be back, so my opinion is that we should send it back to entry. If this remains in PR it is confusing for newcomers.

Yes, they'd make fine AWW pieces, but when Dmitri suggested it, he gave a big speech about the Guide not being in the spirit of DNA and went off in a huff.

how some people seem to know that this isn't inthe spirit of DNA. if it really was in the spirit of DNA, every entry would remain unwriiten till about 10 mins before it was due on the FP, or even better, 10 minutes after !!!!
