Why don't you gather together all the American researchers and organise a meet between you? That is what we are doing (very slowly) for us South Africans.

My gathering is very slow, but then I don't think there are very many SAs on h2g2. I reckon you will have more luck although the Americans are probably spread wide across the continent.

Why Boston? Why not someplace in the middle of the country, like Denver or St. Louis?

Well there could be different ones... New England, Southern, Mid-West, the er area around Texas, the West Coast... We could have one main American page, with diff forums for the diff places...

In fact I'm going to change my SA page a bit, listing my people under the province they live in. That way we can see at a glance where the most researchers are.

We chose Boston, because it was the Northeastern US Researchers discussing a summer meet-up! So we picked somewhere in the Northeastern US!

I want to come to an American meet. It would be a really good excuse to go there again. Last time, I found a wedding between a couple of online friends to attend. An H2G2 meet-up would definitely be good enough an excuse.
