There is only one thing worse than being Gosho, and that is not being Gosho Posted Apr 24, 2001
*Runs round ing everyone*
Yeah, I guess I go with Bob mostly - a lot of what I learned in school has never been of use to me, but then I always knew that I wasn't going to university, and didn't want to be a physicist/chemist/mathematician/draughtsman/whatever. Most of what I know now I've learned on the job, through everyday experience, or by taking some classes because it was something I really wanted to know about. But school gave me the basis to do all of that by teaching me to read, to count, to use a wood plane properly. All said and done, I think it was worthwhile But there are only two people from school I'm still in touch with, and they're the only two I really want to be in touch with.
i love you all

I might see someone I was friends with at school every couple of years, maybe. But most have moved home and all have moved on from back then. My Mum gives me the odd bit of news when she hears it, but its beginning to be marriages and motorcycle deaths now.
~sigh~
Sorry, have
i love you all
2legs - Hey, babe, take a walk on the wild side... Posted Apr 25, 2001
Mind if I take a bit of "hug" and "love"; Ahhhhh (sighs)
Its useually pretty depressing when I here about friends from school; getting married and stuff; they are about same age as me; 24, well too early for that kind of stuff. So I carry on doing the University stuff, escaping real life, and enjoying every hour of it (some of the minutes themselves are a bit dodgY). Although, saying which, most of stuff I did at school has no relivence to my University stuff; I mean, they didn't even teach me proper grammer!, which all goes to show;
"I love you all"
(Hugs and kisses all around)
i love you all

and 2Legs!
You'll also find that most of the stuff you do at University will have no relevance to anything you do in the workplace, so it's a lovely cycle!
i love you all

I've found most of what I do at University has no relivence to University (Study) anhow; So, does that mean what you do at WORK (appoligies, its a swear wod as far as I am concerned), has no relivence to what you do in.. Retirement?
i love you all
