I could have sworn it was 42...

I have to admit that the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy is still sitting beside my bed. It isn't that I don't want to read it. It is because reading reams and reams of text if difficult when there are so many other things to do in Life.

I find Maths extremely difficult, it gives me a that doesn't mean I am not a true researcher. I am researching smileys and I am researching h2g2.

That is commendable of them.

Okay So what's the point in life well how about "religion" to eventually be with the higher being or "God" oooo I opened a can of worms here.

Not that I am religious or anything but people who follow their faith - whatever it may be would perhaps say life on earth is a practise run and to see whether you are worthy to go to Heaven!

Life is what you make it - happy, sad, lucky or unlucky.

No one will ever know the real point of Life !

I have returned but my circumstances have changed somewhat, so I am not able to put as much into it as I used to.

hi guys i am also new to this but thought i would add my few cents....
it is indeed a very hard question to grasp: what is the point of life?

you have to look at it from different aspects first:
What is the point of our lives (as humans)
or what is the point of all life in general?

The answer is simpler than the question in fact...we are born to die with the intention of reproduction before we do...
to put it simply: you are born...you have children and then you die..

perhaps the correct question would have been:
Where is our role in the universe (if you wanted a more philosophical answer)
