I know, I've got a couple of weeks before I have to do that essay! I can't just get it out of the way now, that would be wrong!

The Introduction to Literature one, but I've got a Colonialism one as well...does it make more sense if I say I'm doing English at uni? I've also got a test next thursday which I don't have a clue for.

Strange, the entire maths class at my 6th form had the same idea.

I took business and accounting (separate things) but have absolutely no interest in business in any way.

And yet IT which is the subject I'm really good at is my lowest grade...maybe I should have been less sarcastic in the lessons and listened

When you make roofs you work in triangles. My grandad was a carpenter so he had to do stuff with roof beams. I think I saw some papers once that he was working on.

I was good at maths, but not the maths bit. I can't add or do simple sums without writing down all the numbers because that's how my brain works, but I can easily remember the rules for the creation of a Trading, Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheet. That is why I always did well in the calculator paper. I could remember all the processes for doing the complicated stuff, except for the few bits that just wouldn't stick.

A level maths is more about the theory behind complicated sums than the fun stuff. It's the reason I didn't get on with physics in science.
