That explains why Ed called him Tufty somewhere else too.

The impersonation has ended now. It wasn't intentional, but this entry was for a time listed with my name next to it in the PR list.

I'd like to see a lot more detail on the places you recommend to visit.

I enjoyed this one - I've heard of the football team but know very little about Turkey.

I agree with Elentari. If you could add a short paragraph on Uzungol, Sumela Monastery and any other places of interest to a galactic hitchhiker, then that may be all this entry needs.

Oh, I guess I'll have to have another look at this and try to improve it a bit. Someone has already said I should expand on the touristy sites.

"If I may be allowed to cheat" -- no, I believe that you may not be allowed to cheat. You can't quote a chunk of another website like that.

I've reported this to the moderators for their opinion.

It was one of the things you agreed to when you signed up to h2g2 - that you'd only contribute your own work. You can easily fix it by rewriting that section in your own words.

When will the Entry be back? Couldn't the 'use your own words' rule have been mentioned before sending the text to moderation?

Considering the second post of this thread, I don't think kzwg read the House Rules when they signed up.

In matters of infringement of the house rules, we've been asked to always refer them to the moderators first. They can deal with the author directly through e-mail.

The entry will be back when the author rewrites the bit that caused the problem.

OK. Just seems a bit harsh without drawing the author's attention to the rules first (note that I didn't see the text and have no idea how long the excerpt was although the 'cheat' aspect seems to have been included).
