If at all possible, I would like to become the Muse of Rebellious Musicians, since I am already the Keeper of Musical Rebels.

GinTonyx - Keeper and Mixer of the Gin and Tonic, Muse of the Lemon Garden. Posted Jan 3, 2001
As I am already the Keeper and Mixer of the Gin and Tonic I thought it would be an excellent idea to become the Muse of the Lemon-Garden. What do you think? Just a slight touch, isn't it?
I haven't checked if this title is already taken, but I will in a minute. I shall happily (not really, but I can be an actor if I have to) withdraw my request in case I would steal someone else's title.
Season's Greetings

It is very important to me that my name is spelled right in the musehome roster, because it changes the meaning of my name completely. It is even too offensive to repeat the mistake here.
I assume that it was a typing error ("o" is indeed next to "i" on the computer keyboard), since I see no reason why someone would offend me in this cruel way.

Don't worry, I won't take it personally. I can't expect everybody to be fluent in obscure linguistic dialects, some of which are parly or competely imaginary.
No hard feelings.

I will keep it short: there are dialects involved from a few Flemish towns (in Belgium) and from Yugoslavia (the NEW one, which used to be Serbia), and classic Arabic is obviously involved too.
The flower? I was raised to be a gentle-rebel.

OK, I admit, I was born in the (early) sixties.
Which does NOT explain a lot, because it means I was a teenager in the (European) punk-period and the new-wave-period (long black coats, crazy hair)...
I was a DJ then, and surprised the audiences at the clubs and bars I worked by mixing "strange, weird, psychedelic" records nobody knew in my sets, and became well knwon for it (locally). It even earned me a weekly radioshow (on a pirate-station of course), which I always ended with the "Danse Macabre" by Saint-Saƫns.
In fact all I did was "borrow" my father's records and nose around in secondhand recordshops who specialised in the sixties, and sometimes play them at 45 rpm instead of 33...
I can only hope that those audiences have in the meantime discovered that they listened to a lot of Pink Floyd or Brian Auger or even Neil Young instead of obscure British punk or new wave or bands.
THAT was "avantgarde" gabology... (or maybe I invented "grunge" at the end of the seventies?)

Greetings, oh Fly of the Dragon!
I see you have a museship opening for a "Muse of American Ways". Although I am an American (3rd generation and counting), I feel that title is rather broad for my abilities. Might I request a museship of "New York Ways"? Or perhaps "Muse of New Yorkers"?
I hereby humbly request that you a-muse me.
Thank you kindly,
Shea
