Hi there!
I'd like to apply for the position of Muse of Geeks. I can claim to be a geek, I inspire geeks in my environment, I'm a very active H2G2er and I love cheesecake and chocolate milk!!!
My Cheesecake and Chocolate milk addiction was first provoked by that 1991 classic - Commander Keen-Episode 5! I drank and ate loads of it to celebrate winning after 4 solid days effort! Thus proving my geekdom.
Please?
Lifson

EBWrite is Muse Of Geeks.
How about Muse of Trombonists then? I play both Tenor Trombone and Bass Trombone - and average around 11½ hours per week at rehersals. I also have adopted the trombonist lifestyle, which involves playing loudly, being cheeky yet lovable, and following the 25 articles of the TURD (Trombonists Unwritten Rule Directory) - which I wrote down (yes I know that make is it the TWRD, but that's not as catchy! )

(whay can't we have a !?!)

I've been playing for 8 years and 2 months, but I'm still not very good! I hit Grade 5 and got stuck I think!
Maybe I should bring it along to the next H2G2 meet if I can get there!!!

Lifson-- I hope to have you on the Roster in 24 hours.... until then, here's your Christmuse Dinner Invite!!!
Attention all NEW MUSES:
The Christmuse Dinner ( http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A481844 ) is scheduled to begin on Thursday, December 13th this year.
All muses are invited and encouraged to bring friends or family. Arrive early if you would like to help set up or greet other partiers.
The spirit of Christmuse, not to be confused with Christmas, has nothing to do with religion or commercialism. It is a time of Thanksgiving. Please see the above link for details.
I would like to ask all muses to give one another a special gift, if you are able. Please randomly select another muse(and not yourself, and not the Musemother). The Musehome Roster is at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A498936. If your muse has a link to the SSS page, please visit the place they have advertised. We all would like visitors to the places we've created on h2g2.
If your random muse does not have a special place on h2g2, please drop them a friendly greeting on their userpage.
This is a gift of time, and brother/sisterhood. If you can't do it, that is perfectly fine. I'm not taking the time to investigate who visits and supports who, nor would I want to.
HAPPY MUSINGS, MERRY CHRISTMUSE, AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Yay for Christmuse!
Can I bring a band? There's a small but reasonable Jazz group from Seaford I could get to come, or a slightly larger but not quite as good brass group if that tickkles your fancy more? I also know of a number of local rock groups who would usually be only too happy to oblige...

Hello. I would like to apply for the position of "Muse of procrastination and disorder". My ID is Zolacakes, but I think this name is not quite right to precede the title. If possible, I would like to be known as "Zute,Muse of procrastination and disorder".
Thank you, Zute
