A friend lost his great-uncle in 1993, and it was his job to settle the estate. What he discovered was a garage with a 1976 Buick LeSabre in show room condition and with 17,000 actual miles on the odometer. He sold it to me for five hundred dollars.
It would pass anything on the highway except a gas station, and it was absolutely choice. Leather interior, full-on everything, and a great looking car.
By far, my favorite purchase, ever.

Hey, KWDave!
That brings back a memory for me. My aunt and uncle always bought matching cars, but they always drove his. Long after he died, she gave away his high mileage vehicle and drove hers.
It still had less than 25,000 on it when she went to trade it in. She was so disappointed with the trade-in value that she offered it to anyone in the family for the trade-in offer price! Lucky me, I got it and it was a dream!
