May I suggest a new topic for exploration by the Group: the complete non-existence of planning in Glasgow......as if this were a parallel universe, I live in a City who's Director in charge of Planning is in fact an Estate Agent with no background in Town and Country Planning.
The councillors think that the planning system is there to inhibit job creation and would rather click their heels and chant "there's nothing called Planning" three times and make it disappear.

And the result of this: the plug-ugly UGC cinema complex at the top of Renfield Street; the overgrown concrete bunker proposed for Park Quadrant (in one of the finest areas of Victorian architecture in europe); and countless mindless overgrown porta-cabins in the City Centre and elsewhere.

Am I typing in my sleep as I have a nightmare, or am I awake?

PLEASE ADVISE!

I've worked out the Question: How many times would you like throw a custard pie in the face of a certain ex-Clyde disc jockey?

Answer: 42!!!!
