A Conversation for Great Issues Of Our Time

It is on of the most illogical and facinating aspect of the urban male/Mars/female/Venus era: the toilet seat debate.
I am considered a feminist (of sorts) by most women I know but I've never understood it (hence the 'of sorts' tag). To raise or lower a toilet seat takes the same amount of energy. Men looking out for the needs of women takes the same amount of thoughtfulness as women looking out for the needs of men. Yet many women don't see 'looking to see if the toilet seat is up and adjusting it to their needs' as the same thing as men 'looking to see if the toilet seat is down and adjusting it to their needs'.
To assume it's down (in the dark) and meeting a watery end is just as silly as assuming it's up and creating a hygenic nightmare.
There. That's my two bob's worth.
