is similar to my feelings about my Tascam DP-02 Portastudio. Where all I had before was cassette machines of various sorts, a couple of effects pedals and a tiny amplifier to play my guitars through, now I have a desktop studio with built-in effects and a CD burner!
I would say that it makes me feel like Mr. Les Paul, except that the one thing this gadget does not have is the ability to manipulate time. I miss that facility from my days with reel to reels. Ah, well.
I'm glad you are finding your camera useful.
I've still got an ancient Praktika. I shoot a roll now and then but I rarely get anything processed.

Yea! our lad gave me his sound card machine for my desk top, he used to use it on his old computer where he could plug in any musical instrument, and record straight onto the H/Drive
It is a 350Bit compared to the 32Bit that we get as standard on the top spec computers
