Well, I never officially signed up, because I saw this rule:

"You never actually wear your bikini anywhere - ie, if you don't go to the Swimming Pool and the Beach at all."

And figured that my chances of being committed enough to anything to rely on regularly posting around such places was too small... so I deliberately didn't follow the link...

*shrugs*

But you did ask to sign up - and I've not disqualified anyone yet as voting isn't over.
All you have to do is make 2 postings in total - one somewhere on the beach (which you've done) and one on the pool. So if you just make one post in any conversation in any pool thread, preferably mentioning bikinis, then you're 100% valid.
If you want to withdraw from the competition, though, please let me know now.

The 3rd Annual H2G2 Bikini Competition has not yet started, but it will soon. Nonsense! To quote the rubbish I wrote, "the H2G2 Bikini Competition has always been open to women, men, fish, rocks, aliens, science fiction authors, demons, amoebas and insects of all ages".

So, aren't you going to defend your title as reigning bikini competition champion?

Do you still have your old costumes? Either 2002's winning 'burnt red and orange itsy witsy teeny weeny painted on bikini, with henna designs around her navel and up her arms' or 2001's popular, but less successful 'state of the art rubber and manacle bikini. The manacles are purely for decoration purposes'
