PS: But then neither am I

The last time I logged out of h2g2, I checked who's online with Pliny and it showed that I was online, even though I'd just logged out.

Even when it's working properly, there's a time delay between logging out and when the system shows you as gone, I believe. I think it only updates after 5 to 15 minutes or somewhere along that range.

It updates quicker, of course, depending on time of day; and how frisky the ham[p]sters are at the time

Most of the times I check I am completely alone.
