Just a sort of curiosity question as such
as facts and figures can be recorded by greater degree etc
can a possible update be shown of how many h2g2'ers there are nowand on average how many roughly are usually logged in over a certain period etc ?

At the moment, yes.
But it would be wildly inaccurate 
We're getting lots of new stuff fitted in behind the scenes though, and that'll start showing information like this up

It works for those logged into Pliny, it did work for those not logged in too, but I wasn't happy with how it was doing that, so I switched that part off

Can other people see that I'm online?
I look at Pliny Who's Online occasionally, and never see myself I even deliberately looked at an Entry, the Front Page and a conversation and tried again, and I still wasn't there

Ooo - h2g2 Guide Editors are online, and they (ie me) are using Internet Explorer today.
Perhaps that's why I'm stealth
