Just wanted to know what everyone has blazing from their amps. Me, I'm a metalhead. I enjoy powermetal. Favorite Bands include Gamma Ray, Helloween, Blind Guardian, Angel Dust, Avantasia, Edguy, Iron Maiden, Manowar and the sort. I play drums and guitars. Metal, as usual. Metal's made me a more cheerful and enlightened person (not kidding!!! hehe) and drumming's all the physical thing you'll ever need.
So, post on...

(excuse me Darkwin..)
Helloo..SEF..Rho..Owl..any Guru..would someone like to unconfuse me....
I've just read some of the other posts under this heading..(I replied to this via MP295)..I'm sure I've seen those threads in <./>Askh2g2</.> are the questions on both pages?..have I given Darkwin appropriate advice?..do I need to slap myself with a wet kipper?..or am I just plain crazy....

U295 is subscribed to various pages where technical support might be required. So new conversations on those pages automatically show up on its conversation list and can be viewed as MP295. If you patrol or are subscribed to the same pages yourself then you will run across the same messages again.
In addition some newbies post the same thing in several places while trying to find out what to do without realising this is considered spam. So again you may come across apparently the same message and even be surprised not to see your previous reply (that even happened to a couple of people who should have known better on the BBCi Message Boards).
I always look at the top to see where the message has actually been posted and try vaguely to keep track of that as well as the contents.

SEF..I knew most of that..what confused me was the questions..on same page as Darkwin posted on..wasn't sure if I'd given correct advice about asking his question in askh2g2..(I now think I was correct)..makes sense now..though I can see how newbies get confused and post questions there..as there are already questions there..am I making sense....

Hey WG... I'm impressed that you put my name alongside Rho and SEF for people who could help you... I'm little more than a newbie to this guruing thing myself, though...
You can always be sure what forum the message has been posted in (or moved to ... wherever it is _now_) by looking at the top of the page, where it says "This is the Conversation Forum for " or "This is the Message Centre of ". That line never lies... (unless you're in F1 of course ).

Yeah, actually...
I was thinking that <./>Askh2g2</.> could do with some limelight on the <./>FrontPage</.> ... I know it's always in the "5 Busiest Conversations" bit, but I didn't even look that way until I was a relative Oldbie...
There is a link to it from the <./>Talk</.> page and from the <./>DontPanic-Tour</.>'s "talking" section, but neither of them make it out to be quite as busy or interesting as it really is.
Do you want to know where I first discovered how busy <./>Askh2g2</.> was? When compiling my Researcher Code at A863516 ...
