Good Day Whoami? @ golden currency of h2g2.
I hope all is well for you. Here the same.
Let's get to the point: GuideML. Mark up Language which is not for ordinary people with common sense to understand.
I tryed to read it, but immediately there is a painfully complaining voice: " I do not understand it!!" I do not understand your explaination eighter etc.
I joined and wrote about my experience and opinion. I included, that without my GURU help I can not do a thing on these pages. It is a posting somewhere at the Guide Clinic.
Now
I got surprise for you Whoami?---- I am going to my WORD (condemned) and write a draft in the format I like, --- some of it anyway. I will have it stored in my computer, print it and see how would it look if I had a workable situation. ( I also can put my drawing of GECKO ON THE PAGE!!) ( There are no reptiles in the Community Art Gallery!!!)
Than
QUESTION TO MR. GURU WHOAMI? @
IN THE PROCESS OF
C O P Y & P A S T E
where to Post it as a draft IN THE PAGES OF H2G2???
plse tell me in reply to this posting: Jung Wing going through ID crisis for G E C K O: Thanx.
P.S. Naturally I know I would have to learn the GuideML if I want to introduce myself at h2g2.

Ok. I will continue.
Homer at work Re.: Guide ML. Obviously created for the specific needs there for the available technical setup given to h2g2 in the Tower.
I deleted the Birds, also on My Space the entry from december. Temporarly I will post a few words to My Space to be informative from my personal development at h2g2. Thanx. J.W.

Hi there Whoami? ( see I am getting smarter in this environment)
There was nothing in my Personal Space from december!!! I told you after 3 months of " sniffing" around I want something more " creative." (???!!!???)
There is the introduction beginning words in my Journal entry, because it is easy to take it out.
I have to put that text into the GML. It will be done.
There is a very funny conversation under the title: Happy Wonderer. It is a conversation btw. Tommy Mac and Old Brit. Than Peta came home and I put the final note to it. It is a classic. Also goes to the Book of the future. Try to find it by Old Brit page down. I had hilarious entertainment to read it.
Peta was on vacation in Cyprus. Try to get to my new ID. This is a much happier: Gecko

typing error in prvs.---- this is # 32 entr. How in the world of the "jungle" h2g2 would my kind help: Whoami? find to pick up the thread of Homer? This is a question : an existing problem: loose the thread after 20 repl. gecko

Blue Bird Posted Mar 14, 2003
fine, fine!!! I found the pick up. So typical in this system: nobody would tell you how to do things. Just not fair, or simply: DO NOT CARE!!! FIND OUT THIGS FOR YOUR SELFS!!! FINE, FINE: i CAN FIND OUT LOT MORE than you would think! But I will not tell, as you don't share! gecko
P.S. nothing personal to Whoami? ,---- I am referring to the general POOR: NOT INFORMATIVE attitude in many ways AT h2g2 GUIDES WHO LET YOU LOOSE IN THE MIDDLE OF A " JUNGLE". g.
GUIDES ARE THERE TO GUIDE IN AN UNKOWN PLACE.

I'm sorry I didn't get back to you. It's been a difficult week IRL, I've been rushed off my feet and you slipped down into the 'More Conversations' part of my Space, where I couldn't see the thread title to remind me.
I will get back to you later today with some help.

Dear You are a very kind ! Don't worry I was not around much at my cptr. One of my neighbor died suddenly, and til a certain extent, had to get involved, though was not a close relationship. Now is over, but I will be friendly with his widow: she is from Scotland and has 3 children, all grown and not around. But I am not very much into close friendships here. Nobody is in the suburbs.
It would be really time to introduce gecko: a little green lizard which I met in Hawaii as she/he ran into my room. ( I spent a winter in Hawaii year 97/98 about 4 mo.)
Why did I pick this name?
I wanted to get rid of Jung Wing, after the Columbia tragedy I did not want to have a wing. gecko is simple, just one word and when you will read about it, you will like it, hopefully everybody else also.
I learned a lot about the smileys. But still working on GML,-- and have to get a picture of g e c k o ( there is a sleeping salamander in the picture library, but that is very far from gecko's portrait)
That is it for now. The subject is: GuideMarkupLanguage. Here I would need step by step intr. Thanks to get back to me. Good night: it is Fri night here. gecko send you a

P.S. I found how to pick up or continue a thread after 20 postings. Click on the orange button on the upper right side at the last posting. Is this the correct way to say it??? Gecko

Whoami - iD dislikes punctuation Posted Mar 15, 2003
Yes. I think I told you that somewhere else, but I'm not sure you understood. Also, in your Personal Space conversations list, clicking on the title of the conversation takes you to post one, but the other links take you to your last post and the latest post respectively...

Whoami?@ guess Homer retired. Have not heard from you. Perhaps we can " unsubscribe" and eventually start a new thread?? Gecko
P.S. it was nice and enjoyable, thanks for the help, inspiration etc.
Guess I'll make an intro. anyway. Look some times Gecko's Page.
P.S.II. Had some hang up with my computer also. But it is OK now.

I'm sorry - I've been snowed under with work and there's been some policy changes that have taken up a bit of my time this week. By all means ask someone else, or post again here otherwise. I am happy to help you, but please understand that I'm not paid and my own real life work has to come first...

Dear Whoami?@ I am OK. Got a lot of help from Rhomunuq. Do you know him? Anyway made a lot of progress. But still GML is a very time consuming process. This is a Usenet communication system, not Web!
I don't know if money could help as I suggested. ???$$$???
I will write an essay about my adventures in h2g2 for acknowledgment of help I got from the wonderful people at h2g2. Your name of course will be there Gecko
My Space remains under construction as I work on it when I have time. Don't worry you are not a l o n e to be overwhelmed with work. I find my way--- more or less---but keep in touch. Gecko
P.S. I always wanted to ask you: what do you study? Where do you go to school? What are your plans when you finished studiing? We just spent the time on that mis*****ble GML. Let's see more interesting part of a conversation. (angel winking)
