what is the meaning of life?
Recumbentman Posted Feb 15, 2003
"why not some other number?"
You might have the answer just there -- "why not?"
That's like Beethoven's question and answer: "Must it be?"
"It must be"

The meaning of life is a different answer to each and every individual. The answer may come to you at the age of 1 or at the age of 100. You just need to be able to figure out what the meaning is to you and once you do that you will have your answer.
what is the meaning of life?
If the universe is infinite, then im "a" center, 21+4^1+8+9=42 Posted Feb 16, 2003
the main reason i want to know the meaning of life is because people who arnt very science like, always come up with the answer "to have fun or to live" and i cant except it, i dont know why, i think its because i know how the universe and earth were created so i find myself asking why, why did it have to happen? we wouldnt know any diffent hadnt existed, it is very hard to imagine nothing ever existing.

BUT
Amanda Posted Feb 16, 2003
But, even without time, there must have been something that created the something that was there beofore the bang!
I know our minds are perhaps not equiped to deal with such matters, but simple common sense tells us that something can not come out of nothing.
This argument can be used in many situations, ie God must have been created also, if this is the belief you have.
make sense?
