Gnomon, it was very strange - right at the end where you say if you are reading this at 8pm on Thursday evening, I looked at the clock and the computer has this second told me it is 8 o'clock!
I hope you have a lovely evening. What a shame we cannot share the beautiful music with you.
Thanks for a lovely article, and for not making me feel ignorant about such things. My mum was a contralto. I can hear her singing as I write, and she has been gone these many years.
