I enjoyed reading this, thank you.
Gulliver's Travels and The Borrowers were my favourite books as a child, I still own the originals I read from cover to cover again and again. I like to find references in other works to the words that Swift made up eg 'brobdingnagian' and 'lilliputian'.

I found Gulliver's Travels very heavy going, myself.
I knew there was something wrong with Jonathon when I typed it. I should have stopped and checked.
