I don't want to inflict my schedule on anyone as it's quite likely to change, being a contract engineer. If I can make it I will - otherwise cardboard Bassman gets his first outing.

Apparently some people practice a strange traditional ritual known as 'revision'. I've never encountered it myself, and I'm sure Uncle Heavy isn't involved in such bizarre acts

I did half an hours revision for my GCSEs I remember - I spent most of the time I should have been revising writing a book...

i did something like that, I bought Carmageddon 2 for my pc, about 2 weeks before the exams, so i was just playing that.
And i still came out with 2 A's, 4 B's, and 5 C's!!!

*Thinks: we are really getting off topic here... and at the end of the day, exam results do not show how good a person is, and judghing people by letters on paper in the end is Examist, and as bad a crime as Racism etc....*

the strangest mark was the A i got in French!!!
I didn't like French, I didn't revise, I didn't do much work throughout the 2 years, and i get an A!!!??
Where's the sense in that?

I don't know any French at all, and somehow I got a B. I can't speak, read, write or whistle French, so I don't understand how that happened.

Exactly.
all you need to know when you're in France is "Je Voudrais" and point at what you want. (you'll need the money as well of course, and maybe a phrase book)
