greetings. To procrastinate as far as possible i have to stay on to piss off my mother, who wants to ring her sister. Also i have some rather unpleasent revision to do. Can i please join your esteemed society, i don't really know any of you, though i had a brief conversation with ohgosh.. in the exclusive VIP thing @ Aimi's Spa. I would definatly qualify as a procrastintor, and a poor speller.
I'll go now and make some more crispy cakes.

Now i'm not sure If I count as i procrastinator coz I just puyt things off indefinately, useing the phrase(usually while on H2G2) i'll do it when I've got some free time, authough i'll dealy with it momentaraly is a good phrase too, people don't know if yo mean soon or for a short period of time,

But can I join any way, I put up the title momenteraly when I get time

I hope there were no after effects from your fall off the chair in the executive bar Jenny - 21 hours is a long time to be tangled up in bunting. If you haven't already been there, I suggest a massage at the health spa to help ease those stiff muscles.

LGA, I think the phrase "I'll do it momentarily" is perfect for procrastinators, because as you say, it's very ambiguous. Does it mean "I'll do it in a moment", or "I'll do it as soon as I've finished what I'm doing now"? As we all know, a procrastinator can stretch out a task indefinately if they know that there is something else to be avoided . Hmm, does anyone else think that "I'll do it momentarily" would be a good motto for The Society - sorry, *Royal* Society?

I do. I tidied my desk today rather than revise. Are you proud of me?

Might see a bit of me here this week, its exam time again - the bathroom is spotless, the dishes all done (including some from the cupboard that haven't been used in a while and could have been dusty - well, i might want to use them in a hurry and they'd need to be clean then wouldn't they!!!), my washing is all done - all that remains is to do some long hard exam study.........

as you will notice I am still here.......

maybe theres some friends I haven't seen or spoken to in a while - maybe I could call them......

perhaps I just need to get out of the house and buy chocolate - that usually helps......

maybe i should get an early night so I can do heaps tomorrow??/ (I did say taht last night and didn't get up today until after 10am....perhaps not)... although it is nearly 11pm now, maybe I should go to bed... I will, after just one more game of solitare....

I have some studying to do this week too tabatha - looks like we could be keeping each other company here It's also the wife's birthday tomorrow and we both have the day off, so of course, we'll have to spend plenty of time together, go out for a nice meal, maybe a movie... so many things to do which are far more important than study

Back again......Im fast running out of things to do and soon, all that will be left is this dreaded study....
I think im just going to have to do it, they are, after all, my last exams for this course - after just two more weeks it will all be over and Ill have even more letter after my name....

I better have a shower before I start though.... then maybe another coffee, then i need to call a friend and make sure she is not doing more work than me.. I tell you, any *junior* procrastinators out there, I could teach you alot about the art of procrastination...

Why have a shower when you could have a bath? It takes at least 5 times as long, 10-20 times if do it right . Coffee's good, and whilst you're in the kitchen, why not knock up a light snack, or prepare something for tomorrow's dinner? That of course will result in washing up that needs to be done, and if you have nothing in, well why not a little trip to the grocery store? And if you're going out anyway, you may as well make an evening (or a day) of it (depending on which part of the world you're in). Hopes that's been of some help tabatha. I think I'm going to have a bath myself - I've successfully procrastinated the whole day today, I don't see any reason to stop now

*Its after midday here (by about an hour) and I have managed to acheive nothing save having a shower so far today - oh and writing a few emails and doing a few posts on here. Its almost time to have a 'study-break' and fix myself some lunch I think. And as you so nicely pointed out, I dont have anything to eat for lunch so I better pop down to the shops and get something.
After that It really IS time to study........

A bath....there's a good idea...unfortunately I'm at uni at the moment, so the other people in the computer lab may be a tad disturbed......I did manage not to go to a lecture today, although it was a close thing.......Tab, mr muddle's a fellow Monashian too.....
