...and it's such an excellent place we have to share! I see you have your favourite drink already, MiLord!
*Takes cup of chocolate drink (with 2 marshmallows) out to mari, then returns to the warmth of the bar.*

That it is Linus. Can I interest you in an ?
What brings you here? ... the thought of building snow people, perhaps ...
Crossed Purposes:Jan.2001
Kes Posted Jan 10, 2001
*Pulls a fresh pint of beer, and presents it to Linus*
There you are then. We'll leave the snowmen to those with excess energy. Cheers!

Hi there. Any chance for a mug of hot chocolate topped with some wipped cream to keep the cognac from evapourating?
Crossed Purposes:Jan.2001
Kes Posted Jan 10, 2001
Can do! Just made a load of hot choc..
*Part fills mug, adds multiple shots of brandy, tops off with double cream poured over back of spoon.*
Have you finished your snowman, or are you just pausing for inspiration?

Babel17 Posted Jan 10, 2001
*nips in for a quick cup of cocoa and rum, as it's freezing at Pandora's with the water and heating off*
Drink. Gulp. Slurp. Eeh, grand!
*heads back to work*

Gwennie Posted Jan 10, 2001
*Trundles into the pub, towed behind her three s*
Whoa there yer mad hounds! SIT DOWN!
*Gwennie's dogs immediately sit on Linus' feet, covering him in mud and hair*
Hello peeps!
*Sticks her finger in Pierce's hot chocolate and thinks about sticking her finger in his ear when, distracted by his blue nose, changes her mind and places a dollop of choccie foam on his nose instead*
There! That's better!
*Pats Pierce on the head and wanders off to help herself to a café cognac*

Snowman, Kes? Wouldn't dream of it! I've had my share of cold hands, cold feet, cold nose - ah, you name it.
Would like to go skating like I did in my youth, though. The sensation of gliding fast over the stiff water on the fjord was the closest thing to flying as I recall it. One day the wind blew us some 10 km without us having to do a thing!
We had to walk home along the beach, though

Wouldn´t mind a long walk along the beech. Much better than hanging around work.
AH!
A picture of the legobot I let loose for cleaning up around here.

::mumbles sleepily about RINGO::
::yawns::
Crossed Purposes:Jan.2001
Kes Posted Jan 11, 2001
*Gently touches Dragonfly's shoulder*
Sorry - Ringo's not here ... but I've brought you a choccy drink. I hope the rest refreshed you. Are you going to try building a snowman today ... before it all melts?

::sleepy and can not see well::
::sees Kes' halo:: Am I in heaven!??
Wait... you said that RINGO wasn't here... I guess I am not in heaven...
::sits up::
Thank you for the chocolate milk, Kessy!!!
I think that making snowBEATLES is the work of the hardy...
And I am not hardy...

Kes Posted Jan 11, 2001
No, not Heaven, Dragonfly ....
Not even the next best place after that (which would be in the arms of the partner of your choice)
but the next best after that ... a BAR!
Hehehe!
Well - you stay gracefully on the couch and provide artistic inspiration, then. I too will stay in the warm and observe.

Such intelligence. It must have to do with being an angel/saint, eh!??

*Kes goes to the door, gathers some snow, and makes a small, loose snowball, which he rolls across the floor towards Plato ...*

*Watches the wiggle ..... the leap ..... the perfect pounce ... and the amazement as the "prey" disintegrates and spreads soggily all over Plato's coat*
