We usually call it a blender (or whizzy thing that goes round and round very, very fast!), Kasia but "milk shake machine" sounds much better!

Quaffing - best done with , doesn't seem to be appropriate with anythiing else. Possibly a good idea to wear waterproofs? A good, well-seasoned quaffer could down a yard of in one go.
