E., you REALLY want "I" should tell you what to do with that tree?
Are you sure? You want ME to tell you?
...*brings out several colors of ribbon...* here ya' go, you can start by sticking these at the top of your pole.
I'll go knock the dust off the barrels of mead I rolled in several weeks ago.
Oooo, and best start a batch of smething or other in the cook-pot. ...*blinks 42 times and a whloe bunch of stuff appears at the table where Pandora's sitting...*

*Hobbles over and gives the pole a good whack with her cane.*
Nice big stiff maypole. Great job, E! Here, I'll weave some flowers into crowns for all of us to wear as we dance around on Wednesday. Does anyone want to wear faery wings? I can do those too.
*pats the tree...*
I like a nice piece of wood.

*Wonders how Kes's found its way to the top of the pole and glances questioningly at Mari who has just shinned down the pole and is trying hard to look innocent whilst polishing her walking stick*
It is a very nice pole E and I do hope that the wood is environmentally friendly...

Your is up there Kes...
*Points to the top of the pole and wonders how an inebriated Kes will manage to retrieve his and anticipates being entertained, which plants the seeds of an idea in her usually vacant head*
What say you that we get some pole dancers in until 1st May? It seems a shame not to put this wonderful pole to some sort of use after all...
Kes...How about you being the first to audition whilst seeing whether or not you can reach your .

Why? Is there anything interesting (apart from drink/food/coffee) behind the bar E?
*Wanders behind the bar and disappears with a parting shriek down the open cellar hatch*

Thanks Englander!
*Picks up the offered pint, and is about to lean on the Maypole, but gets distracted by a scream from behind the bar. Misses the Maypole, and ends up on the floor with an empty glass ... AGAIN!*
