*GB hurries in with her arms full of decorations
*hangs streamers from the ceiling very precariously balanced on a small step-ladder {its parents were divorced}
*blows up balloons and places then srategically around the Bar
Fetching a long sheet of paper from Reception, she writes in a large, felt-tip pen:
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY COURTNEY"
stretches it across the Bar and attaches it with a bit of blue tac.
Looking over her work, GB is satisfied & heads off for her room where she left Courtneys card & gift.

*GB hurries back in, still covered in dust and cobwebs, places the gift-wrapped package & birthday card on the Bar and hurries off in the direction of the kitchen....

*GB hurries back in with all the birthday cards & gifts that the morning post has brought & leaves them on the Bar....
*hurries out again

Aha!
An empty bar.
