I need shoes!

For my time at work I need shoes other than tennis-shoes or gum-boots. Something that looks proper.
I live in Bavaria, where most people think a vegan is a member of some religious sect.
Can anyone tell me where in Bavaria, or at least in Germany, Austria, Switzerland or North-Italy I can buy apropriate shoes?

Oh Come on! That's completely insane. What is this--[URL removed by moderator] The h2g2 I know and love would be amused by my "dubyadubyadubya" ploy. I can't believe it has come to this. Does Douglas Adams have any clue what's happening to his project? h2g2 is supposed to be a community. And it is. I was so happy when they created it. Finally some people who are fun and relaxed and wanted to make something unique without worrying about a lot of rules or restrictions. But now we aren't even allowed to tell someone where they can get vegan shoes. Why?
I mean God, this is really disillusioning to me. Each time I log in it seems more and more like h2g2 is turning into the Sirius Cybernautic Corporation (sp? It's been a while since I've read the books).
I apologize to other HVS members for this outburst. I'm sure that some of you don't think this is such a big deal. But when one of our members can't even share information to help someone lead a more compassionate lifestyle, I feel like I have to speak out.
Are you going to censor this post too?
-Wolfman (PO'd--I can't even spell out the name of my emotion because it will be CENSORED!--vegetarian old-h2g2-loving activist-type person who could really use a veggie beer but it's only 2:30 in the afternoon and I have a final tomorrow-Aaaarrrggghhh!)
